Home of Scottish Freemasonry in South East Asia (holding of the Grand Lodge of Antient, Free and Accepted Masons of Scotland) District Grand Lodge of the Middle East Our history The District Grand Lodge of the Middle East was established on 20 October 1916, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, uniting all existing Scottish Craft Lodges under its jurisdiction. Since its formation, it now oversees 24 Lodges within its district, spanning across Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.
